Built in 2009, the air-conditioned hotel distinguishes itself through its modern design and comfortable interior and offers 201 guest rooms and suites on 10 floors, which all comply with the most demanding standards. On the 7th to 10th floors, the hotel offers the Melia Premium Rooms and Junior Suites which fulfil the exclusive criteria for high standard rooms and suites. The hotel offers a convention and business centre with 1,200 square metres divided into 8 differently sized conference rooms and an exhibition area. All function rooms are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art facilities. Further facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a children's playground and a cafe, bar and restaurant. For an additional fee, guests may also take advantage of the WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services and a garage.

The city hotel is located in the centre of the state capital Düsseldorf, right next to the city's green heart and Germany's oldest public park, the Hofgarten. The world famous strip of fashion boutiques, the Königsallee (KÖ), with its exclusive shopping arcades and the historical city centre are within walking distance. The closest tram station Sternstraße, is about 100 m from the conference hotel. Dusseldorf's most important destinations can be reached within minutes, such as the central train station, the trade fair grounds and congress centre (CCD) or the Tonhalle. Guests will find restaurants, bars and nightlife in the immediate vicinity and Düsseldorf International Airport (Rhein-Ruhr) is approximately 6 km from the business hotel.
